Abstract

In February 2020, the workforce in Lampung was 4.43 million people, an increase of 25.5 thousand people from February 2019. However, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) fell by 0.46 percentage points.

In the last year, TPT rose by 0.32 percentage points. Judging from the level of education, the TPT for Vocational High Schools (SMK) is the highest among other levels of education, namely 8.49 percent.

The working population is 4.24 million people, an increase of 10.3 thousand people from February 2019. The three dominant employment opportunities that absorb Lampung's workforce are the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors which absorb 46.41 percent of the working population, then the trade sector large and retail 18.42 percent and the processing industry sector 9.26 percent. When accumulated these three sectors absorb 74.09 percent.
