A. RICE
Temporary Figures (ASEM) of Lampung Province's rice production in 2009 amounted to 2.67 million tons of Dry Milled Grain (GKG), an increase of 333 thousand tons (14.21 percent) compared to rice production in 2008. The increase in rice production in 2009 was due to an increase in harvested area of 63.87 thousand hectares (12.61 percent) and productivity of 0.66 quintals/hectare (1.43 percent).

The increase in production in 2010 was estimated to occur due to an increase in harvested area of 794 hectares (0.14 percent) and productivity of 0.02 quintals per hectare or 0.04 percent.
B. CORN
ASEM Lampung Province's corn production in 2009 was 2.07 million tons of dry corn kernels, an increase of 257.82 thousand tons (14.25 percent) compared to production in 2008. The increase in corn production was due to an increase in harvested area of 46.99 thousand hectares (12.13 percent) and productivity of 0.88 quintals/hectare (1.88 percent).
ARAM I Lampung Province's corn production in 2010 was estimated at 2.06 million tons of dry corn kernels or decreased by 6.33 thousand tons (0.31 percent) compared to production in 2009. The decrease in production occurred due to a decrease in harvested area of around 1.78 thousand hectares (0.41 percent)
C. SOYBEANS
ASEM Lampung Province's soybean production in 2009 was around 16.15 thousand tons of dry beans, an increase of 9.48 thousand tons (141.88 percent) compared to production in 2008. The increase in production occurred because the harvested area increased by 7.86 thousand hectares (138.92 percent) and productivity by 0.15 quintals/hectare (1.27 percent).
ARAM I Lampung Province's soybean production in 2010 is estimated at 12.34 thousand tons of dry beans or a decrease of 3.81 thousand tons (23.61 percent) compared to production in 2009. The decrease in soybean production in 2010 is estimated to have occurred due to a reduction in the harvest area of 2.98 thousand hectares or 22.07 percent, and productivity of 0.24 quintals/hectare (2.01 percent).
