The percentage of poor people in Lampung in March 2021 fell to 12.62 percent

Abstract

In March 2021, the number of poor people (people with monthly per capita expenditure below the Poverty Line) in Lampung reached 1.08 million people (12.62 percent), a decrease of 7.21 thousand people compared to September 2020 which was 1.09 million people (12.76 percent).

The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2021 was 9.29 percent, down 0.30 points compared to September 2020 which was 9.59 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2021 was 14.18 percent or decreased by 0.04 points compared to September 2020 which was 14.22 percent.

During the period September 2020 - March 2021, the number of poor people in urban areas fell by 4.68 thousand people (from 259.28 thousand people in September 2020 to 254.6 thousand people in March 2021), while in rural areas it fell by 2. 53 thousand people (from 831.86 thousand people in September 2020 to 829.33 thousand people in March 2021).
