Employment Situation of Lampung Province in February 2020

In February 2020, the number of the Workforce in Lampung was 4.43 million, up by 25.5 thousand from February 2019. However, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) fell by 0.46 percentage point.

In the past year, TPT rose by 0.32 percentage point. Judging from the level of education, TPT for Vocational High Schools (SMK) is the highest among other education levels at 8.49 percent.

The working population is 4.24 million people, up 10.3 thousand people from February 2019. The three dominant jobs that absorb Lampung workers are the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors which absorb 46.41 percent of the population works, then the trade sector large and retail 18.42 percent and the manufacturing industry sector 9.26 percent. If accumulated to these three sectors, it absorbs 74.09 percent.
