Abstract

The NTP for Lampung Province in June 2011 for each subsector was recorded at 132.07 for the Rice & Secondary Crops Subsector (NTP-P), 109.96 for the Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H), 122.59 for the People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTP-Pr ), 106.81 for the Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) and 114.74 for the Fisheries Subsector (NTP-Pi). The increase in prices in the food crop sub-sector, such as the price of grain and corn, as well as the increase in prices in the fisheries sub-sector, such as mackerel, made Lampung's NTP increase 0.97 percent compared to the previous month.

If NTP per sub-sector in June 2011 is compared with May 2011, it can be seen that three NTP sub-sectors have increased, namely the food crops sub-sector which rose 1.83 percent, the horticultural crops sub-sector which rose 0.14 percent, and the fisheries sub-sector which rose 0.88 percent. . Meanwhile, two sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the plantation crops sub-sector which fell 0.05 percent and the livestock sub-sector fell 0.20 percent.

Of the 32 provinces, 16 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 16 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Lampung Province, namely 0.97 percent, this was because the price paid by farmers only increased by 0.32 percent, while the price received by farmers increased by 1.29 percent. Meanwhile, the largest decline in NTP occurred in Bengkulu Province, which fell by 1.36 percent, due to an increase in prices paid by farmers of 0.83 percent, while the price received by farmers only fell by 0.54 percent.

In June 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in Lampung Province of 0.35 percent. Inflation in rural areas was mainly caused by an increase in the price index for the foodstuffs group. Meanwhile. The decline in index only occurred in the prepared food group.
