Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in December 2009 was recorded at 46.24 percent, down 4.86 percent compared to November 2009 which was recorded at 51.11 percent. Meanwhile, compared to December 2008 which was recorded at 48.12 percent, the TPK in December 2009 also experienced a decrease of 1.88 percent.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in December 2009 was 7,224 people consisting of 175 foreign guests and 7,049 domestic guests or an increase of 19.46 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared to December 2008, the number of guests staying also increased by 11.53 percent.

The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in December 2009 was 1.43 days, or 0.41 days lower than the previous month, and compared to December 2008, also 0.11 days lower.
