Star Hotel Room Occupancy Rate in Lampung Province in September 2009 Was 44.95 Percent

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in September 2009 reached 44.95 percent, an increase of 0.60 percent compared to August 2009 which was recorded at 44.35 percent. Meanwhile, compared to September 2008 which was recorded at 49.16 percent, the TPK in September 2009 fell by 4.20 percent.

The number of guests staying at star-rated hotels in September 2009 was 5,031 people, consisting of 162 foreign guests and 4,869 domestic guests, or down 8.48 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, compared to September 2008, the number of overnight guests increased by 17.93 percent.

The average length of stay of guests at star-rated hotels in September 2009 was 1.91 days, or 0.20 days higher compared to August 2009, and compared to September 2008, 0.33 days lower.
