In January 2025, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Lampung Province was 1.04 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Metro City at 1.54 percent. In January 2025, there was a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Lampung Province of 1.04 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.66. The highest inflation occurred in Metro City at 1.54 percent, with a CPI of 106.13 and the lowest occurred in East Lampung Regency at 0.73 percent with a CPI of 109.85.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in most of the indexes (inflation) of expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group which experienced inflation of 4.08 percent; clothing and footwear group 2.64 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group 0.27 percent; health group 2.69 percent; transportation group 0.50 percent; recreation, sports and culture group 5.32 percent; education group 5.64 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group 1.59 percent; and personal care and other services group 4.72 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in index (deflation) were: housing, water, electricity, household fuel group 11.45 percent; information, communication and financial services group 0.71 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in January 2025 was recorded as deflation of 0.71 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in January 2024 was deflation of 0.71 percent.
