Lampung Economic Growth First Quarter-2020

The economy of Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2020 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR90.40 trillion and GRDP at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR60.38 trillion.

The economy of Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2020 grew by 1.73 percent, weakening compared to the first quarter of 2019 (y-on-y) which grew 5.21 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved in the Other Services business, Provision of Accommodation and Food and Beverage, as well as Health Services and Social Activities. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was achieved by the Household Consumption Expenditure Component of 4.53 percent.

The economy of Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2020 grew 2.87 percent compared to quarter IV-2019 (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved in the fields of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Other Services. From the expenditure side, all components experienced contraction.
