The average price of grain (GKP) among farmers fell by 10.50 percent

Abstract

During May 2020, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 45 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality grain group of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP).

The highest price for grain at the farmer level reached Rp. 4,200.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety found in Sragi District, South Lampung Regency. The lowest grain price reached Rp. 3,700.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with emerging and strained varieties found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency and Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is below the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 4,200.00 per kg.

At the milling level, the highest price of grain is IDR. 4,300.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency and Sragi District, South Lampung Regency, while the lowest price for grain in the GKP quality group is Rp. 3,800.00 per kg with the emerging variety found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency. This price is below COGS, namely Rp. 4,250.00 per kg.
