Abstract

Production Growth in Large and Medium Manufacturing Industries (q-to-q) in Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2012 experienced a decline in growth of 3.28 percent from the fourth quarter of 2011. This indicates that there was a decline in the production of large and medium industrial products in the quarter I of 2012 compared to the fourth quarter of 2011.

Growth in Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry Production (y-on-y) in Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2012 experienced an increase of 3.22 percent from the first quarter of 2011, this shows that in the same quarter the economic condition in 2012 was better than in 2011, which means that there has been an increase in market absorption of industrial products in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of 2011.

Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry Production Growth (q-to-q) in Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2012 fell 1.35 percent from the fourth quarter of 2011. The decline in demand and people's purchasing power was the cause of the decline in micro and small industrial production in the first quarter. . If we look at the same quarter, in 2012 the growth of micro and small industrial production also showed a decline of 3.82 percent from 2011.
