Implementation of KSA-March 2023

KSA is defined as a sampling method that uses area as the unit of calculation. This system is based on Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, remote sensing, information technology and statistics, which are currently used in Indonesia to collect agricultural data and food production data. The KSA approach can provide accurate and timely information to support the design of national food security programs.
 The KSA implementation in March 2023 will be carried out on the last 7 days of the month, namely. March 25-31, 2023.
 In total there are 351 KSA segments for rice and 54 segments for corn. The KSA application uses an application that requires officers to fill it in at a predetermined time so that monitoring is continuous at that time. The recorded images are sent directly to the BPS server for inspection by filling out a form which is checked at points determined by the field officer conducting the image review.
